April 24, 2024. On the International Day of Multilateralism and Diplomacy, a seminar organized by the Friends of Kashmir at Kashmir House Islamabad was attended by different dignitaries. President KYA Dr. Syed Mujahid Gilani was among the keynote speakers. Other esteemed speakers included Senator Mushtaq Khan, Ambassador Abdul Basit, Ambassador Zameer, Ambassador Babar and Ambassador Nafees Zakaria.

Dr. Syed Mujahid Gilani described the Kashmir conflict as a dynamic book with chapters covering every aspect of the whole issue. He emphasized the need to study each chapter in detail so that international representation can be made without flaw.

He said that the chapter of Kashmiri political prisoners needs to be sought out by diplomatic means to ensure that these prisoners are voices of dissension and not some criminals. Examples of Yasin Malik, Dr. Qasim Factoo, Masrat Alam Bhatt, Syeda Asiya Andrabi and others need to be discussed internationally in the prism of freedom fighters instead of the Indian lens.

It was agreed upon by all the worthy speakers that Pakistan must send informed and educated envoys to smallest countries having representation in UN to garner maximum support and give more voice to realities of Kashmir through these countries.
