Who we are

Kashmir Youth Alliance finds its inception on the 15th July 2016 by a small group of students/youth activists from Pakistan, Azad Kashmir & Occupied Kashmir after Martyrdom of Burhan Muzaffar Wani.

We work with many youth and students organizations, groups, human rights NGO's and political parties who share our aim to help bring a solution to the crisis, a solution that respects the integrity of the Kashmiri people and their inalienable right to self-determination. KYA is the only platform in Pakistan to bring the youth of Pakistan, Azad Jammu & Kashmir, Gilgit Baltistan and Indian illegally occupied Jammu & Kashmir on a single united front. More than 90+ organizations across globe are affiliated with KYA and believe to work together for Kashmir. Our mission is to advocate an end to the Indian occupation and the right to self-determination for the people of the disputed region of Jammu & Kashmir. We build alliances and solidarity with other movements for social justice and liberation through grassroots mobilization. We Conduct and recycle research that aims to solve Kashmir Issue in practical ways. We also bring knowledge and policy making together by informing and, influencing the policy process. KYA serves as a centralized hub for educational resources and multimedia, action toolkits, and event and campaign organizing. We motivate and empower youth groups, allied organizations, journalists, academics, lawyers, artists, and activists to act by providing updated information, content, access to experts and scholars, and volunteer support to drive strategic mobilization efforts. We invite you to join us in any way you can. Be part of the history and stand up against the state terrorism and illegal occupation. Stand Up For the people who have been denied their rights.
