IIOJK, 19 encounters, 33 Kashmiris martyred in June 2022

Islamabad (4 July 2022) Thirty-three kashmiris were martyred in 19 encounters in June in Indian Occupied Jammu & Kashmir, according to data available with the monitoring cell of Kashmir Youth Alliance.

Five encounters reported in Kulgam, three each in Shopian and Pulwama and two each in Anantnag, Kupwara, Baramulla and Srinagar.

In different encounters Nadeem Ahmad Rather, Idrees Ahmed Dar, Zubair Ahmed, Rasik Ahmad, Junaid Ahmad, Basit Ashraf Wani, Zakir, Haris Sharif from Kulgam, Junaid Shergojri, Fazil nazir Bhat and Irfan Ahmad Malik, Jan Muhammad Lone, Tufail Nazir, Shoukat, Zahid Ahmed, Rayees Ahmed from Shopian, Ishtiaq Ahmed Tral, Younis Gull, Abid Sheikh, Majid Nazir from Pulwama and 13 other Kashmiris martyred by occupied forces.

President Kashmir Youth Alliance Dr Syed Mujahdi Gilani said that, IIOJK had witnessed the martyrdom of 191 people and 72 military operations during January to June 2022. Every passing day tells a new story of oppression for the people of Kashmir. Every day Kashmiris mourn the loss of their loved ones but the struggle continues.
