“AIK SHAHEED AIK SHAJAR” Countrywide Campaign

Chairman Shehryar Khan Afridi planted a sapling at Parliament House to pay homage to Ashraf Khan Sehrai Shaheed & other Kashmiri martyrs.

On Aug 5, 2021, Kashmir Youth Alliance in collaboration with Parliamentary Committee on Kashmir started a countrywide campaign titled “Aik Shaheed, Aik Shajar” to pay tribute to Martyrs of Indian Occupied Jammu and Kashmir.

In Inauguration Ceremony at National Assembly of Pakistan Chairman Shehryar Khan Afridi planted a sapling at Parliament House to pay homage to Ashraf Khan Sehrai Shaheed & other Kashmiri martyrs. President Kashmir Youth Alliance Dr Syed Mujahid Gilani, Secretary General KYA Razi Tahir also joined the event.

Shehryar Khan Afridi said “Sehrai’s custodial killing demonstrates that Indian occupational regime is adamant to use all available tools to subjugate the people of IIOJK into submission but the sacrifices of Sehrai testifies that no matter what, India can never break the will of the Kashmiri leadership”.

Dr Syed Mujahid Gilani said We will do “Aik Shaheed, Aik Shajar” Campaign annually in plantation season. Volunteers of Kashmir Youth Alliance planted more than 5000 plants across the Country named after the Martyrs of Kashmir. Leader KYA Dr Abdullah Khalil planted 1000+ plants in Islamabad and distributed them in Islamabad rural areas.

Tribal Youth Forum organized plantation activity at Bajaur, Secretary General KYA Razi Tahir headed plantation campaign in District Attock.
