Kashmir Youth Alliance was formed in 2016 by the Youth who felt their responsibility towards Kashmir. KYA stayed vibrant throughout the year with some dormancy in the later years till 2019 when I was elected as the President of KYA. Ever since, we have tried to keep all member organizations as beads in a single string, where the number of organizations kept increasing as everyone was attracted towards the dynamicity and ever evolving activities of Kashmir Youth Alliance. I have always advocated that standing together, we can work for Kashmir 365 days a year. The impact of working together and in unison was clearly depicted when KYA became the focal face of the largest Flag draped in Islamabad as well as when the book launch ceremony of Baang was executed in the Aiwan e Sadr. I pray that KYA keeps on blooming, staying true to its manifesto and becoming a voice of the unheard. In my personal capacity, I will always be a soldier of the Kashmir Cause regardless of where the future takes me. Being the brother of a martyr, Nephew of Syeda Asiya Andrabi and Dr Qasim Factoo, from the family of Syed Ali Geelani, I also take Pride and will continue to do so that I served KYA as its President. May ALLAH dawn the Sun of Freedom upon the Kashmiris soon and may they breathe in the free air with no oppression or colonial imperialism against them.
