Islamabad (15th Feb 2022): Kashmir Youth Alliance in collaboration with Rawalpindi Islamabad Editors Council organized highlighting ceremony of a book “Kashmir, Tareekh, Tehreek aur Imkani Hal Ka Jaiza” authored by Young Scholar Farooq Azam at National Academy of Letters, Islambad.
Chief Executive Youth Forum for Kashmir Ahmed Quraishi, Director General Jammu Kashmir Liberation Cell Irshad Mehmood, Syed Fida Sheerazi, Author Farooq Azam and President Kashmir Youth Alliance Dr Syed Mujahid Gilani were guest speakers.
While speaking at the occasion Irshad Mehmood praised the author for writing on the subject of Kashmir. Saying that the book also highlighted how the various ethnicities have been used to rule Kashmir in the past seven decades, he said that this book is a good source of information for readers interested in history, politics and social ethos, peace and the threat of war that may arise due to the unresolved Kashmir issue.
Ahmed Quraishi said Farooq Azam writes on Kashmir for which he deserves congratulations. Young people should do research on the subject of Kashmir and write as much as possible. Academia can play an important role in resolving the Kashmir issue.
Dr Syed Mujahid Gilani appreciated Farooq Azam on his efforts.
