On 9th Feb 2019, E-Library in collaboration with Kashmir Youth Alliance organized Seminar titled “Role of Academia in Freedom Struggle of Kashmir” at E-Library, Rawalpindi. Chairman JKCHR Dr Nazir Geelani, Kashmir Activist Shaista Safi, President KYA Dr Syed Mujahid Gilani, Chairman Civil Society Islamabad Dr Abdullah Khalil and Ch Asif Saif were speakers.
Dr Nazir Geelani said academia can add value to the national narrative on Kashmir dispute and the academia needs to spread awareness among the youth on half widows, half orphans, demographic terrorism and other issues being faced by the Kashmiri people.
