Kashmir Seeks Attention; Conferences held in Lahore, Gujranwala, Gujrat and Fateh Jang

After 5th August 2019, Kashmir Youth Alliance organized Seminars and Conferences under the title of “Kashmir Seeks Attention” at Lahore, Gujrat, Gujranwala and Fateh Jang. APEX Group of Collages was the main collaborator of this series.

The Seminars was aimed to aware students & youth of Pakistan about situation of Indian Occupied Jammu and Kashmir after revocation of Article 370 and 35A and to identify and explore the entailing policy options that Pakistan should adapt to address the situation.

Gujranwala

On 25th August 2019, KYA organized Seminar at APEX College Model Town Lahore, Anchorperson MubasherLuqman, Anchorperson Usama Ghazi, Chairman Apex Group of Colleges Rana Adeel Mumtaz, Senior Vice President KYA Taha Muneeb and Secretary General Kashmir Youth Alliance Razi Tahir was guest speaker. While talking to audience speakers expressed that occupied Kashmir has been turned into the largest prison of the world, and the controversial Indian Constitutional bill will just further ruin India.

Fateh Jang

On 3rd September 2019, KYA organized Conferences at APEX College Gujrat and Gujranwala Campuses. Chairman Apex Group of Colleges Rana Adeel Mumtaz, President KYA Dr Syed Mujahid Gilani, Defense Analyst Col Khalid Mustafa, Senior Vice President KYA Taha Muneeb, Anchor Farhan Shabbir and Secretary General Kashmir Youth Alliance Razi Tahir was chief guests and speakers of mentioned events.

While expressing their views, Speakers alleged that India’s move to change the status of the disputed state of Jammu and Kashmir is another manifestation of the Indian Government to promote Hindutva ideology, which is aimed at “saffronising” India and turning it into a Hindu-dominated “Hindustan”.

On 15th September 2019, Kashmir Youth Alliance in Collaboration with Press Club Fateh Jang organized “Kashmir Conference” at Govt High School No 1 Fateh Jang. President Kashmir Youth Alliance Dr Syed Mujahid Gilani was the chief guest. Senior Journalist Sardar Sultan Sikandar, Chairman Municipal Committee Abid Dawood, Radio Broadcaster MehwishNaz Principal Malik Minhaj Ud Din were speakers on this occasion. The Series of conferences were attended by large number of dignitaries, academia, students, media representative, and researchers from local think tanks and universities.
